Brendan Rodgers Walks Alone

Well there you go Swansea a stepping stone again :)

It is a gamble by all parties, Brendan career is in the infancy, Liverpool are at a low point in their history. It depends really if Liverpool fans will happy with a top ten finish playing some really nice football then Rodgers is just the man, if Top Four is essential then it is going to end in tears.

Huw Jenkins the real architect of Swansea's rise will get a new manager in, manage him to deliver results.

Awesome Run Ends

Well after an international break we had Stoke, Wigan and Man City and I think this was a make or break 3 match run.

3 Points would have been good but to have taken 6 points was amazing. We should be safe now and the fight to get a Swansea 2012/2013 season ticket starts here!

Mxied results

I was galling to lose the win with such a late goal by Chelsea but at the end of the day Chelsea deserved a point.

The win against West Brom was delightful so in retrospect 4 points from those two games was a nice tally.

It all went a bit wrong against Norwich but it shows how much we rely on Joe Allen as I think we lost the game in midfield.

Get In First Away Win

My brother in law managed to get to the Villa game said the Swansea Fans were awesome. When the Villa fans were leaving ten minutes from the end (2-0 down) apparently the Swansea Fans started singing 'Is this a Fire Drill, is this a fire drill'.

Awesome!

Swansea v Arsenal next week and I have a ticket! It is going to be a tough game although I think it should be entertaining if we play like we did against Spurs then we should be able to get something from the game at least.

Swansea v QPR

Well not a great result but at least unbeaten again at this time in the season start to panic a little bit as we are looking over our shoulder at the teams in the relegation zone.

We need to put a run together in this league that is not so easy.

Swansea City v Blackburn

Come on must be three points for this one surely! Swans looked good against Villa although the atmosphere was somewhat subdued by the news of the death of the Welsh Manager.

Have to pause there to pass on sympathies to the family.

A little concerned we will be without Angel Rangel but it does give Jazz Richards. To be fair Jazz looked a little out of his depth against Villa last week but he clearly has ability and now is a good time to learn.
